Great list of WP plugins. Specially, 'Auto Social' and 'Sociable' are the ones I like most as they are good for link building and blog awareness through social media sites like DIGG. Eric’s last blog post..Dirfferent Categories of directories

as far as I know Alex doesn’t maintain the plugin anymore. There are other types of popularity plugins available.

Some times I think I am king of the unheard of plugin, it really helps to find the obscure ones if you regularly check wordpress’s newest plugin list. Most of those get submitted by the creator after having made them for themselves but never get promoted. I am actually in the process of putting together a blog about nothing but wordpress plugins.

The scary thing to me is that I have a lot of plugins, and I'd never heard of most of what you list above. I do use Askimet and Bad Behavior, as well as the Google Site Maps and DB Manager, but the one I find most intriguing out of your list above that I'm not using is the Auto Social, since it's tiring having to constantly add my link to Delicious.
