I don’t understand the “each blog has at least 250 pages”. Could you please clarify that? This simple idea sounds too good to be true. I hope you can extend this article because it would be nice to see more explanation and your results from doing this.

The article title is a bit deceptive, but not greatly so. If a blog uses a top commentator plugin it lists the top however many commentators on ever on every page of the blog. If a blog has 250 pages/posts then you name can be on 250 pages. Getting on this list usually isn’t hard since the plugin is seldom used on really popular blogs. If you can get yourself there on 10 blogs a day you get 10x however many pages the blog has. If it has 250 pages and you can do it on 10 different blogs a day 250 pages x10 top commentator lists x4 days=10,000 backlinks in 4 days. The key is to leave meaningful comments and if you don’t write the language well or look like spam trying this method will cause you more harm than good.
The only problem with this approach is that most TC lists get refreshed periodically, or you get bumped out of the list by other commenters. So it’s something you have to keep doing, or gradually all those links disappear!

That isn’t a problem really. yes it forces you to stay engaged in a blog, but that said staying engaged isn’t a bad thing either for your reputation or the number of backlinks google will count.
Any tricks to finding blogs that use the “Top commentators Widget”?
I use fast blog finder which is a free program. The catch is with a free version you are limited to finding fifty sites and the first fifty they find at that. The pay version is worth its money in gold though. You can also use directed searches in google, but you will physically have to go top them to know if they are nofollow sites which is something that Fast Blog Finder will tell you.
Hi Blogboy,
where can i find this free fast blog finder program?

I have just started the dofollow blog commenting to gain backlinks to my websites. This is a great post. To think that I could have 10,000 backlinks to one of my sites in only 4 days seems to good to be true. I will start right away. I will also create a list for my followers to make it easy to find these blogs with the “Top Commentors” widget. I will look further here as well. Great post and thanks for the link luv. Zack

The title of this post should have been “Getting 10,000 Plus links made EASIEST”. :p
This article has really made me want to post comments on different DOFOLLOW blogs.

This is an interesting idea. I wonder if it would be more productive however to add individual posts, one at a time that will stick around for possibly a lot longer. I don’t know, but just wanted to throw that question into the mix.

How many comments did you make on each blog per day?
Although some site do have top commentators widget installed, some of the site owners turn on the nofollow option in the plugin. i have one installed on my main site. with dofollow :)

I have a list of dofollow blogs but it was dated back in 2007. i checked them and many haven’t updated their posts. only few update regularly. so there is need to find which ones are dofollow blogs. and it takes time.
the calculation made by Blogboy is not wrong at all, but just as i said it needs to find out first which blogs are nofollow free.

I see you have the top commentators plugin. However it says “No Commentators.”
This seems like a pretty nice blog. I can’t believe no one has commented this month. Perhaps you need to update your plugin.

I don’t know if Backlink is the correct term but could someone please tell me how to create a code to add to my blog?
can i ask the difference between dofollow and nofollow, is dofollow when you can add your website, and nofollow is when you cant add your website?
John a dofollow link is a link that search engine bots will follow for indexing. A nofollow link will not be followed.
nofollow links are not meant to be followed and indexed, but they regularly are, especially by non-google search engines.
