Muted Colors – A Free WordPress Theme

For those of you who stop by regularly you might have noticed the change over the last week to the Muted Colors theme. I am almost ready to go for full release and offer it up to Wordpress for consideration but I wanted to point out that beta version I am using here is available for download along with most of the plugins I have integrated into this version. I welcome you to download this beta and let me know what you think.

- Heavy Plugin Integration (all optional)
- 13 widgets areas (9 sidebar, 3 footer, 1 on the archive template)
- Color coded twitter icon for header. Simply change the twitter link to your own.
- Integrated tags to meta keywords
- Secondary side wide meta keywords when you download the beta you will want to change them in the header.php
- Full width blog description in H1 tags at the top of the page. How you describe your blog is far more important than what you call it.
- Dynamic header information to include title tags using Nathan Rice’s methods.
- Threaded comments to comply with Wordpress 2.7.1
- A function call to separate Joost de Valk’s tweetbacks.

- Widgets do no transfer icons seen in standard mode

Glad you like. The link is easy miss it is right above the social sites Muted Colors (762.1 KiB, 19 hits) I guess I need a to make a custom css class to offset my downloads if i keep using the theme. I should have a final release within a day or two.

m not able to find any Demo link or Demo pic out here … it would be better for visitors to have a look on its preview before downloading it

Brad, the dynamic headers in titles option is unique and makes this theme so special. I am planning to launch a website for a social cause and I think muted colors will be perfect for me. I will let you know more details. thanks for your incredible efforts.
I like the theme a lot. It’s got a real classic look to it. I found the text in the archive widget just slightly hard to read. Nothing that a quick css edit won’t fix though, thanks for the theme!
